Welcome to FACIAL.SCAN, a professional tool operated by Lashes by Reb ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, subscribing, or using the FACIAL.SCAN app or website (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
FACIAL.SCAN is intended for licensed or practicing beauty professionals aged 18 or older. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.
FACIAL.SCAN is a professional reference and design aid. Its facial scans, measurements, shape classifications, and lash-mapping suggestions are provided to support your own expertise — they are a starting point, not a medical, diagnostic, or guaranteed-accurate result. Scan outputs can vary with lighting, camera, angle, and image quality.
You remain fully responsible for your professional judgment and for every service you perform on a client. You should always confirm any suggestion against your own training and the client's individual needs before applying it.
We work continuously to improve accuracy, but we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any scan, measurement, or recommendation will be correct or suitable for a given client. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
FACIAL.SCAN is a paid subscription. You may subscribe on the web (billed through our payment processor) or through Apple In-App Purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
For purchases made through Apple, payment is charged to your Apple ID and billing is managed by Apple; you can view or cancel in your Apple ID settings. For web purchases, you can manage your subscription from your account or by contacting us.
Subscription fees are non-refundable. When you cancel, your cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access until that date, and you will not be charged again after it. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods, unused time, or the current billing period already paid.
Purchases made through Apple are also subject to Apple's refund policies, and any refund request for an Apple purchase is handled by Apple. Nothing in these Terms limits any refund right you may have that cannot be waived under applicable consumer-protection law.
You may upload client photos, measurements, notes, and similar information ("Your Content"). You keep ownership of Your Content. You are responsible for having the right to upload it — including obtaining any necessary consent from the clients whose photos or information you store — and for using it in line with applicable privacy laws. You grant us permission to host and process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you. Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including: reselling or sharing your account, copying or redistributing our trainings or materials, attempting to reverse-engineer or disrupt the Service, or uploading unlawful content or anyone's image without permission.
The FACIAL.SCAN app, scanning system, trainings, design cards, and all related materials are owned by Lashes by Reb and are provided for your own professional use only. They may not be copied, redistributed, or resold without our written permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lashes by Reb and its owner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of — or reliance on — the Service, including any client outcome, dissatisfaction, injury, or lost business. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the three (3) months before the claim arose.
You agree to defend and hold harmless Lashes by Reb from claims arising out of your use of the Service, the services you provide to your own clients, or your breach of these Terms.
We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. (Update this to your own province if different.)
